i have a siamese mauser that has been chambered in .45-70 that is a great hunting rifle. i shoot 350 grain soft points at high velocity and get wonderful results on deer. i topped it witha leupold VXIII 1.75-6 heavy duplex and consider it the best brush and timber gun i own. i can't wait to try it on hogs.
