I don't mention it....until someone asks me. HOW they ask me will determine the answer I give. I just say I shot a buck until I'm asked about size or antlers or (______). I'd really never thought about it until now, but people in these parts typically note points.....which is flawed, in my opinion (if you really want to know how big the deer was).
