I believe that they come with the option to mount normally included in the box. However, I would suggest that if this gun would be usedi mainly 150yrd or less situations while stalking on the ground, then try the forward mounted scope. I know it does not 'feel' right, but if your target/area/reflexes allow for minimal aquisition time, then there is really not a better set-up. It allows you to aquire your target with both eyes open, a major advantage, and then shut your non-dominant eye for a quiker precise shot.
