As with whitetail hunting, the better and harder you scout the better off you'll be. Spend a few days walking around looking and confirming feeding areas, roosting areas, strutting areas and dusting bowls and you'll be well ahead of the game. Then it's simply a matter of popping up a Double Bull blind, staking out a few decoys 10 to 15 yards in front of you and throwing out some limited calling. I've found that location is FAR more important than calling when bowhunting the birds. Turkey hunting with a bow is honestly one of THE most exciting hunts you'll ever make!
