Default RE: Swift A-Frames??

I just used 140gr A-Frames in my 6.5x55 for my first elk. I handload for my CZ-550 Ammerican. They are moving about 2700-2800 fps with 48gr of Reloader 22. The first shot was tight behind the shoulder broadside at 50yds. He started running so I hit him again about three inches behind the first shot at about 40yds and he dropped. Both shots were broadside and they both exited. They also shoot about 1 inch groups in my rifle. Good bullets but to pricey for just deer in my opinion. I'll stay with 140gr Sierra Gamekings for deer and smaller and A-Frames for larger critters. The Sierra's shoot about 3/4" or less when loaded with 48gr Reloader 22 and Federal Gold Medal primers in my rifle.
