RE: Swift A-Frames??
They have a lot of penetration for an "expanding" bullet. I would save them for Africa personally. Or maybe have a few in your pocket up in Alaska in case a brown bear decides to try to take your caribou away. I shot an elk with one a couple of years ago. 120 gr. .257 out of a fast twenty five caliber wildcat. I think it could have gone through two elk broadside. A customer of mine shot a large mule deer with one and it penetrated end-for-end.
Another customer of mine went to Africa in 2005. As they were preparing for the cape buffalo part of the hunt, the oldprofessional hunterasked him what he was packing for bullets. Mike had solids for his .416 Rem Mag. The guide was pleased - and told him the only bullets he will allow for buff is a solid or a Swift A-Frame. Not a Nosler Partition, not a Barnes X, or even a Fail Safe. Only the Swift A-Frame. I thought that was quite an endorsement.
