Default kenetic energy question?

I've asked this on a couple more boards, but I'd just like to get more opinions<img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>
ok, with my splitfire 36 I'm shootin 49 ft lbs of K/E.
with my darton maverick I'm shootin 62 ft lbs of K/E.
that is if i figured it right from bow jackson site.

I'm currently shootin rocket steelheads with 1 1/8&quot; cut.
their fine for deer, but I would like a bigger head for turkey
huntin.

I'd like to shoot a 1 1/2&quot; head, same brand and same model for
both deer and turkey.

I know I don't have enough K/E to shoot deer with that big of a
head, with my splitfire. but, would 49 lbs of K/E be ok for turkey?

I could use my darton for either game, and use my splitfire
for turkey only. I mainly just bowhunt for turkey now anyway.

first of all would this size head work ok using them the way i
mentioned above, and what 1 1/2&quot; mechanical head would ya'll
recomend that i use? thanks
