You can take it down well below 3lbs. I wouldn't want to go lighter than 2lbs on a guns unless its a benchrest competition gun and you are not going to get that type of gun for the money you are talking.

But I also can adjust my remington triggers to 2.5lbs also with no problems. Little more difficult but once you do one or two, its a snap.
