Bottom line is it is up to the Police Officer on the scene...his discretion....what he would consider "SAFE" another would deem "UNSAFE"...to damn much grey area in our laws regarding the "SAFE STORAGE OF FIREARMS"! I personaly have a cheap gun safe purchased for Canadian Tire in which all my long guns are stored with trigger locks..I also have my handugns with trigger locks in a locked container in the gun safe...but if the Police Officer is an a-hole I could still be charged & it would be up to me to to defend myself in court, after all we all know that in our court system here, you are GUILTY UNTIL PROVEN INNOCENT!!!!!!!!!!
