Ill only use a larger rifle if im hunting from the top of a mountain and can shoot 700 or 800 yards to ther other mountain. Id do that with my 30-06 anyways though.
Top of one mountain shooting to the other at 800 yards.
How do you judge the wind for the entire distance if you are shooting "cross-sky"?
