Default RE: Federal flight control

Since this has drummed up a few pages of content, I emailed Federal regarding the shells with the FliteControl Wads. Below are the contents of my email (editted for some content of course), followed by their response:

My email:

I have a Mossberg 835 Ulti-Mag Thumbhole Turkey Series w/ an Ulti-Full
.695 choke tube. When I shoot the 3.5" Mag-Shok 2 oz. shot, 5 shot
shell with FliteControl through my gun, I get a massive amount of recoil
as compared to other loads of the equivalent. Is my .695 choke tube too
tight for this shotshell?

Their response:

I would think yes as optimal performance is achieved with .665-.675 with
a non ported choke and no wad stopper feature.
We no longer need to ultra restrict it with the Flitecontrol system.

Hopefully this sheds some light on the subject.
