Six Douglas County residents have been arrested after being accused of poaching mule deer in Lake county this year and last.
Oregon state police fish and game officers acting on a tip,on sunday discovered six dead mule deer bucks at a hunting camp set up on the Wagner ranch near Fort Rock, north of Silver Lake in northern Lake county.

"The protection of large mule deer bucks is the main priority of officers working this area at this time of year ". Information obtained during the Fort Rock invesigation led police to make additional contacts at residence in the Glide and Roseburg areas later Sunday evening and Monday.
