RE: Celbrating after the shot......
Over the years, from being out in the woods for many hours watching deer,I've learned to contain the excitement and remain all bussiness until the deer is out of ear shot and sight. The next thing I do is get out my binos and look at the arrow. Then I get down and walk over to the arrow and check it out. Adrenaline is pretty cool because by this time, I can't remember getting out of the tree. No matter what, I'm pretty excited at this time, but it's the most exciting if the hit was so good that you can track immediately. As opposed to going home and letting the deer alone for a while. Finding my deer immediately is the most exciting for me. Don't get me wrong, finding your buck later is great, but more of a relief at times. My buzz is the highest once I'm holding my buck. For some, it may involve spooning![:-]
