RE: Alabama Baiting
The same goes for louisiana, I go walking though the woods on my neighbors property, I have permission, and see some stand that other hunters have setup, and there is no effort, it's a stand in a little open space, 75 yards from there house, with 200lbs of corn on the ground. So I scout, and look for deer sign and trails, and everthing is leading to that corn pile or the other corn piles i see. I ticks me off, but i just take my climber and set up on the deer trails, and cut the deer off, I usually catch the deer holding up about 2-300 yards off the corn pile in the woods, I let a doe and two yerling walk past me this year early in the season, at about 4 : 30 pm, I heard a shot at 5:30, sure enough one of the guys shot that doe right in his corn pile, I reported it, and reported the pile of corn, nothing was done about it. After I reported it, my game camera got stolen. Nothing was done about that either. How are you supose to fight that. There are just not enought game wardens, and they don't act unless it's a very serious offense.
