Back when they were still loading them with black powder didnt they get the names for the round by the caliber then the amount of powder? like 45-110, 45 caliber bullet with 110 grains of blackpowder? There were like a ton of them back then. I think everyone would love to have a shiloh sharps rifle, one of the most accurate guns made.
