Would it be a good idea to put one of those silica gel pacs that absorb moisture into my can of Triple 7 to help keep moisture out?

Is it ok to mix pellets and powder? Say you have a bunch of pellets and you want a80 grn. load could you use one pellet and 30 grns. of powder?

Powder first then pellet?
