FG, Do you know anything about the Lyman line of sidelocks? My pal has a Trade Rifle, and it sure does feel good. Nice heft to it and he says he wouldn't trade it for any other. I sure liked the feel of it and he says it's a sure enough straight shooter. he's just about got me convinced.
I own a .54 caliber Trade Rifle flintlock that I hunt with. It is a very smooth accurate deer killer. I also love the rifle and would never part with it.
