I'm not quite sure I care for your tone, I will say that I shot a buck in Missouri this season with a Slick Trick 100-grain and it penetrated the shoulder quite nicely.

MOCraig,
You totally missed my "tone". It wasn't meant as a cyberslap, just an observation. The shot on the Missouri buck wasn't the same as the one with the Muzzy. I've blown through the shoulder bone of whitetails with Muzzy's as well with Hoyt bows. All different circumstances. I'm also sure the slick Trick will serve you very well, but I'd bet there are bad stories on them as well....again, not a cyberslap...just an observation. PS, I don't think I had a chance to welcome you to the board, the more you visit, I think we'll be fine, after all, your post said you shot a Hoyt Striker Redline at 68lbs..I had one of those....so.....You can't be all bad. <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

Thanks for responding, Rob. I guess I took your post the wrong way. I have heard (I believe it was even on this board) a couple of bad stories regarding the Slick Trick. I can't say I'm totally sold on them just yet, but I do like them a great deal.
I just cannot use another Muzzy after that instance, for whatever reason. I accept the fact that the Muzzy is probably one of the best broadheads out there. I still think there may have been an issue with the head, even if it was just that particular head on the end of my arrow that day.
Regardless, thanks again for responding. I've moved on from the Striker, and am now shooting a 70# Hoyt Havoctec with the Versacam. I love it.
