Wats the best 45-70 Load to put in the Marlin 1895 Guide Gun
Best for what purpose? You can easily load bullets of various constructions and weights ranging from a 135-grain round lead ballall the way up to over 500 grains in a .45/70, loads suitable for shooting everything from jackrabbits and porcupines up to Cape Buffalo.

If you give us a more narrow hint as to your intended uses, maybe it would be possible to be of more help here.

If you're talking about shooting boar or hogs, I'd stick to a 400-grain jacketed flatnose bullet and use 53 grains of IMR 3031 with it. IMO, the lighter bullets are intended for deer, except for perhaps the Speer 350-grainer and the Nosler Partition design.
