The Sp's are 300 grain with a very low BC as compared to the Shockwave, and he was asking about a 250 grain SW... so in my thinking @ 150 yards the biggest difference is going to be the POI if the POA are the same. The Shockwave could be 3" higher on the target - if not a little more. I would expect the 300 Gold Dot to be 1 1/2 to 2" lower than the SW.... If pglasgow gets over here he could tell ya more - he is a gee-whiz with numbers... I could actually look it up (I probably have ballistic charts already made up for both bullets) or I could just shoot the bullets on my computer simulating program and also tell you...

I didn't know what the BC was on the SP, but I knew it was not as good as the SW. Only 1.5 to 2 inches lower, wow. I bet the drop at 150 is where the difference comes in then. XTPs drop 17 or 19" between 100 and 150, so I was thinking the HP did about that and I was expecting the SP to drop only say 6", and the SW to drop 3" with a sight in of dead on at 100 yards. Thanks for info. Chap
