My family never did to well up there for big bucks even 30 years ago. We hunted the Huron National Forest. It seems though that our older generations were not as serious about it as the kids they have raised, me included. I have shot 2 good bucks, both in the UP. I have only seen a few small bucks on stand while hunting Mio. We'd catch the big ones in the headlights on the way to town. They were there but, not near us LOL.
