Default RE: ACCs vs FMJs?

ORIGINAL: mobowhuntr

It's been my limited experience that the FMJ's are not very durable......Penetration hasn't been as good either. Tolerances aren't as tight....My opinion.....ACC.
Well, I guess my experience is the opposite of this one. I have been shooting the FMJs for about 7 months now, and they are one tough arrow. The aluminum outer makes them real easy to get out of targets. I've shot the same arrow through two deer and one coon, and it still just like new, save for a scuff mark here and there. Not sure how penetration could be less, as they are super slim in diameter, and very heavy as well. I shoot the 300s and they are 11.8 grains/inch. Penetration has certainly not been a problem with any of the animals I have shot. Both are very good arrows, but if you are planning on doing a great deal of target shooting, I would go with the FMJs because you will have a much easier time getting them out of 3D targets, and block-style targets as well.
