It might be. Kinda depends on the individual rifle. Thecaliber has good accuracy potential - a couple of them I have built with Douglas barrels will shoot 1/2" with handloads. The NEF rifle, as you already know, is no Remington 40X. But some of them shoot pretty well - particularly if you don't try to load them too hot.
