just wondering what everyone though about this situation. i just landed this property to hunt. i haven't been out there to look as of yet but planning on soon. i have talked to the owner quite a few times and found out about the where when and what is seen. they have the deer pretty much pin pointed on the land and even told me where to go. (this land has NOT been touched in the past 7 years...... by either gun or bow)
here's the thing, there is a creek that runs through it and i was told by the owner that you'll know when your getting close to it because you'll sink. he was about 35-40 yards away and sank up to his knees in the mud. how do you thik the deer will react to this mud? i see them go through tons of mud and muck all the time but what about this stuff being that they could possible seriously get stuck in it. do you think they will avoid it like black death.
