On top of that, one of the most popular wildcats still around is a varmit round called the 6mm/.284. When I was having my custom 6mm Rem built I spend many sleepless nights debating whether or not to go with the Rem or 6mm/.284. I finally decided that 200 ft/sec wasn't worth having to use obsolete brass and specialty dies. The way my 6mm Rem shoots I have no regrets.
