Give Hornady a try, i have found them to be as accurate and sometimes more accurate than federal premiums in my rifles. Bonus they are a 5-7 bucks cheaper to boot (here anyway). Yeah, the trigger is a must. I started getting my triggers lightened a few years back and the difference was amazing. Now that's the first thing I do to my new guns and any budies who are experiencing group problems is get them to the 3 pound range.
