i think best test would be leave it in coldin unheated garage..i keep my muzz loaded in the truck bed on way home to keep it from having a great temperature change from truck heater..

others may hunt then put it in front seat next to heater and leave it in truck at night before they go out again..

most shoot their gun off each day..

i am interested on rusting with 2f or 3f geox ..
