Default RE: Recoil cost me this year; please HELP

GUYS, GUYS, GUYS…easy!!!
Thanks again for the advice, I really appreciate all of it… well most of it. I’m not really sure where a few of you get off judging my shooting ability over the internet but maybe Viagra isn’t working for you and being a jerk on the internet gets you to your happy place, I’m not judging.

Anyway, to answer the scope question I'm shooting a 9/32 Nikon Buckmaster.

I’m not a guy that is afraid of magnum loads; the only thing I shoot out of my BPS 10ga are 3.5 inch mags and I run through about two to four boxes a season from early goose in September to the last days of duck season in December. I don’t have the flinch with the BPS but I do with the M77. My guess is that the scope on my BPS has never whacked me in the head…why… because it doesn’t have a scope on it . Nothing to do with magmawhateveryoucallit.

I’m like my dog I guess; he ranges too far and I whistle him in. He comes back because he’s conditioned that if he doesn’t come back he gets a zap from the e-collar around his neck. I put the M77 to my shoulder and I’m already thinking I’m going to get hit in the head with the scope, I flinch and the deer goes jumping into the brush. Anyway, to all of you guys that have said I’m over gunned for white tails, I agree and that’s why the Ruger is going in on a trade. If I loose some money on it, oh well, at least I’ll hopefully have a gun I enjoy shooting. Thanks again for all the constructive advice. It’s cool that we are all a community of sportsman that can bounce ideas off each other. You are all tops in my book
