It sounds like it couldbea good time to take up reloading, no shame in a load that would duplicate a 7mm-08 or .280. For the hit you would take on a trade you could more than likely outfit yourself with the basics and as you gain confidence back shooting milder loads you can always load 'em back up to mag level. Youmight even enjoy it, it's great when a load you put together gets the job done. Kinda adds to the 'successful hunt' thing!
