Ruger 77s do NOTrecoil more than other rifles with same weight,caliber,stock dimensions,etc. That said,I think the man's biggest problem is with scope eye relief. We don't know what scope he is using. Is he "stock crawling"? He may simply need to trade scopes. That failing,trade the rifle for a 7mm08.NUFF SAID. end of discussion PERIOD
