Then if that's the case, I gotta ask. Why did you get a 7mm Magnum in the first place? Sounds like you certainly don't need it.
No, he probably doesn't need 7mm mag - and neither do the great majority of deer hunters who own one.
BY THE WAY - shot a three-point buck this morning with the 30-30. Yippee! And he died, too - aint' that sumthin'? No belt, no 'magnum' sobriquet, no high-dollar ammo, no three bazillion fps/fpe, no dislocated shoulder and no flinch - ain't it grand? Into left ribcage behind shoulder, out front right shoulder, a short loopy run and down.
Now I gotta go back out and skin it...
