I had the same question about a week or so ago. I went out and did the research myself since I could't get a definite answer here (everyone has their own personal preference here and no professional opinions were posted). I was torn between the Slick's and the Montec's. People are not exxagerating when they say the Slick's fly just like their field points.....they really do. I shot the slicks's the other day and loved'em (I shot the Montecs too). Montecs are no where near as sharp (but youcan sharpen them yourself and they'll be just as good)as the Slick's out of the box. Montec'sreally do whistle as some people have suggested on this site. When the guy told me to get about half way down range and off to the side when he shot. The sound of the Montecs whistling is really there and very apparent. Not saying the noise would affect a shot either way, just didn't want to chance it or have that affect me mentally at the moment of truth. Just adding on as my research is very recent.
