Has anyone experienced problems shooting while it is raining using an encore or prohunter? Im heading up to the midwest to hunt next sun. and its callin for scattered showers. what should i do to make sure it still shoots if im sitting out in a drizzle?
Loose powder outlasts pellet powderduring lengthy periods of rain in bores where the pellets fit loosely. I found real blackpowder and 777 gives me the best ignition in rains.
Keep your action firing pin door closed with primer in place. Also keep your muzzle pointed downward while sitting.
