Yeah, kind of a confusing read. First of all, have you tried reading your own post? Anyways, from what I gathered you are asking which gun would be the best for your style of hunting? You cannot go wrong with your 30-30, thats what it was designed for over a hundred years ago. Nothing wrong with the .270 either, you just need to make sure that you use the right bullet for the job or you may have pass thru shots that dont do enough damage.
