I use a strip of the limbsaver rubber tape under the forks which I have set to slightly overlap the riser. It keeps the contact point quiet, and also keeps the bottom out spot off the rest( point where the flat spot at the back of the launcher armstops the downward motion of the rest) never had a problem setting it up this way.
