RE: New here and have questions
I would suggest you go to several good proshops in and around your area. They can fit you for draw length and wieght, and see that you get the right amount of instruction to get you started. You may pay more money for the bow and all the other goodies, but the quality help you get from a good proshop is priceless! You should be able to get started with a pretty good outfit, for around 350 dollers. That includes your bow, arrows, rest, sight, release, peep sight, quiver and a few of the little things. You may even be able to get by with a good used bow and save some more money. The bottom line is if you don't start out with good equipment,and instruction, you won't shoot well and will give up quickly. I would also suggest reading most of the threads here on the bowhunting and technical boards, you can get a pretty good idea of what's good and what's not by just reading everyting that goes on here.
