I really appreciate all the replies..the knowledge here is overwhelming! After my post I had the opportunity to check with two seperate highly respected "smiths" who both advised me the bolt face coversion/sako extractor would not be difficult.....however....they both said getting the 300 WSM to feed properly is often a chore! My intention was to have the conversion done...have Krieger barrel the action...have Mcmillan "stock it" and add a jewell trigger. If feeding is going to be such an issue, I'll just scrap the WSM idea and buy factory. I need a custom 6br for chucks anyway!
