Default RE: Quebec Winter Caribou Hunting

This type of garbage goes on in years where they are thick as well. We were stopped by a warden and we told him about the 4 dead animals we found including one really good bull. He seemed pleased that we didn't find more as last year thier was a really good crossing where road hunters were picking them off pretty good and he walked into the bush and found 23 dead caribou, mostly small bulls dead within 100 yards of the road. He said peple don't think they are big enough and let them lay or if they don't drop on the spot they don't try to recover them. Anyone that goes up thier has to be prepared to hunt in the bush a ways or this will be what you find everywhere. Looking forward to heading back up thier, looks like 08' or 09'.
