I may be mistaken but I believe the Rifleman is not a one-piece tube. The lens coatings are also likely different. It's meant for Wally World type stores. If I were you, I'd save a little extra cash and get a better scope. There are several reasonably priced ones available such as: Burris Fullfield II, Sightron S2, Weaver Grand Slam, Bushnell 3200 and 4200, etc. They are all better (IMO) than the Rifleman or the VX1.
