I was glad to see this thread. I have been wanting to muzzle break my 300 short mag. Now that I read these posts, I could see the noise making me want to flinch as much as the recoil does, though.Can I get one that can be removed if I don't like it? Does anyone have an idea of what it would cost?

I also have to say that my friendly rifle range is not a reason to avoid a muzzle break. Several shooters have breaks and we all just wear ear plugs. No plugs, no range. I never heard anyone say there was a problem.
