It's all about the horns. Don't let anybody fool you. Of course you don't eat the horns, horns are for tools, weapons, decorations, knife handles, buttons and such. Do you eat the laddle that you've stirred your soup with? Of course not! Why do people say, "you can't eat the horns"? NO SH'T! Your supposed to eat the meat! BTW, you can tenderize the meat with an antler, then lick it clean if you want to. You don't eat it, it's a tool.

I used to shoot little bucks. That was before I learned how to hunt big bucks. Big bucks = more horn and more meat. It also means more hunting, man, I hate that. I will agree that sometimes it is nice to shoot some little bucks, like fork horns, these horns are perfect to use as..forks! You know, table ware.

Yeah, it's all about the horns. I put a tape to every one of them, even button bucks. You know why they call them button bucks don't you? Because that's where buttons come from! They look real schnazzy on your shirts and maybe even your troussers!

Take this buck, I hunted long and hard because I needed some knife handle material. At first I thought, maybe he's not big enough, but then I realized...gun season was just around the corner and I could shoot another one just like him. Then I'd be allright. I got a lot of knife handle material off of him and a ton of meat. It's all about the horns!!

I agree. Nice buck Greg.
