Default RE: little ones make big ones

Talondale and Huckleberry,

I have whittled down my hunting areas to the ones that suit my needs. I am more than happy with my experiences. My plate is full right now. I have no need to hunt outside of my back yard. Maybe when I retire, I'll move on to a new state or providence, but for right now I'm stuck in the two states I've got.

It is a fact... Mature bucks are everywhere. You just have to find them. That's why it's called hunting. In the 40 years I've hunted, I did find some places where there are an abundance of mature bucks, how cool is that? Just because I've only hunted two states, do you think that there is no literature or shows on TV that indicate what kind of deer are roaming around the country? Get with it, that kind of information is easy to obtain, especially on the internet.

A lot of people are saying that they wish they had my kind of leisure time, that was easy for me too. All I had to do was put in 30 years at a wonderful company. Simple.

What I'm really hearing is that my success has nothing to do with my ability, I just have great spots and I'm lucky. Well, you're right, for every 100+ hours that I put into finding spots, scouting and hunting, I get even luckier. I'd rather be lucky than good anyway.

Huckleberry, I don't care what other people harvest. It's their choice. I've stated this since day one. Read my posts carefully.
