I gave thelast 20 years I have been hunting, my great uncle hunted the UP. His sons who started hunting in late 70's on the farms. Who knows what they shot back then, they had to eat[8D]
So was I right??........is it 16 in 16 years?
Far less then 1 = you do not know

I hope you shoot a monster, it would be priceless
Far less then 1 means far less then 1.........no way there is 1 mature buck for every 640 acres of land.....that is funny. I was hoping to shoot anything.........all I saw was a couple squirrels.
To all the reason I ask was to show Atlas has chosen to hunt his way, because he does not have the time(nor would I ) to hunt mature bucks in his area.
I have all the time I need to do whatever I want.........my choice is not to waste it chasing something that isn't there.
Since your the king of leaving out info in your Quotes here is the full story from ID DNR site
Bucks are physiologically ready to breed at 1 1/2 years of age but may not have the opportunity for several years because older bucks dominate the does. Dominate bucks will mate with several does during a single season and will chase off younger bucks that attempt to breed.
Why would I include that part?........it has nothing to do with anything we are talking about. You said 1 1/2 bucks don't breed..........you are wrong. Now you want to justify it by saying the big boys chase them off. Figure it out dude.........what does no big boys mean??........that's right, the young guys get the chicks.
