Agreed. Just hope everything is cool and that you can get back out next year. That's what it's all about. Not getting a deer for this contest. Again, hope all is well with the move.
Well, have not seen much action except until about an hour after dark sets it. Almost hit plenty of deer then around my hunting area. But I'm holding out hope. Got the trail cam out and have been out a few times with no deer in sight. The last gun season I saw plenty of deer as the other hunters were pushing them around.
Our muzzleloading season is open now and the number of muzzleloaders has been gradually increasing. Just not enough to put some pressure on the deer to get them moving during daylight. I'm hoping activity picks up in the late afternoons like it did last year once we got some snow on the ground. Supposed to get some snow this week and its cooling down from the 50s to the 20s. I still have until the end of December and plenty of warm clothes!
