Just purchased a marlin 336w and currently doesn't have a scope. I planned to use it mainly in the heavy woods. However, sometimes i could really use a scope so i don't limit my shots.

I purchased some weaver rings (see thru type) and have yet to get a scope.

what i am wondering is, does anyone recommend a scope for this gun and being that the rings are the see-thru style, how accurate will a scope be? The scope will be sitting high probably requiring quite and adjustment maybe outside the adjustment range.

Sell me on scoping this gun or not.
