I'm curious as to where your buddy is on this issue. Did he offer to pay your fine for putting you "between a rock and a hard place"? It was your fault but I just wondered if he offered.
You stuck your neck out to save a friendship, what is he doing to save it now? Are you guys still friends after all this?
