RE: Andy Rooney calls bow hunting "barbaric"
I was in my local barber shop last year talking with my barber about the deer I had gotten the week earlier. There was an old FART that came in to get his bald spot shinned. Well, he hears me talking about deer hunting (with my recurve) when he decides to join in the conversation. He commences to tell everyone there about the 3 guys "bow hunting" his neighbors property & all the HIGH TECH gadgets they used to kill this deer.. cam traker, trail timers & as he put it "DEER P*SS." He starts talking about all the pic's they had of this monster buck & that they knew exactly when & where he was (the deer was moving at 2 to 4 AM) & how all they did was walk out into the woods & kill that poor deer!! I said Well, I spoke with that land owner about it & he said they had ben hunting that deer for TWO years & finally got him!! Well, he shut up. I was really tempted to tell him what I thought of him & his kind.. but, I didn't. I just said, It's a good thing that deer is dead.. God forbid, you could have hit him in your truck & it go threw your windshield & kill you!! These people are the same ones that have to be shown the difference between their @$$ & a hole in the ground!! I treat them like frost on my windshield.. I just turn up the heat & they go away!!<img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>
