My 6 yr old nephew has the Micro Midas set at 25 lbs and is shooting like a champ. He actually is shooting in a league with my bro-in-law. I like that set up. The genesis is a really nice concept and you might want to consider the Bowtech rascal. It looks like a great bow to last a while. It might be pricey, though.
