TX, funny you bring this up. I was in the same exact position with my 11yr old son this summer. He's been shooting various bows since he was 3. Started with one those plastic suction cup jobbers. He just out grew his latest a Golden Eagle brave bow. So I went on a search myself. I considered several, like yourself. He also has a 23-24" draw, and been pulling lighter lb's. His brave maxed at 22lbs. I ended up ordering just today for Christmas a Champion Badger. It has a 22-29" draw by changing modules, and in either 35lb or 45lb limbs max. 65 or 80% let-off, camo or pretty colors! Its a 2003 model, Champion just put out their new 03' designs. The proshop called the company, and they were all out of 02'models. I also purchased 3 modules to take him up to a 25" draw. Their website still shows the 02 lines, but the badger is pretty much the same. The Buck bow line which is cheaper has been dropped, unfortunately. I bought a new Champion myself this spring, but I didn't care what brand I got for my boy, as long as it was going to work for him now, and several yrs down the road.
