we could use some more information , granted an Excalibur is a great crossbow it may not be the right choice for your Dad, what can and cant your Dad do?? is he going to be able to cock the crossbow by himself ? or is he going to need a crank style cocking aid? is he going to be able to hold the crossbow or is he going to need assistance? theres a lot of things that can factor into which might be the right choice for your Dad.. you will get a lot of good info from the guys here on this forum..
